Alchemy Installation

This year we welcome Alchemy Film & Arts to the fair, who will be presenting an interactive audiovisual installation, created by a group of young artists from the Scottish Borders. Their work will examine how we interact with and interpret the world in a digital age.

The project was made as part of Film Town, a major community film-making initiative by Alchemy Film & Arts which works to the benefit of Hawick, home to the award winning Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, as well as the wider Scottish Borders.

Through workshops, film screenings and digital skills development, Film Town aims to widen access and inclusion for audiences, participants and partners, and seeks to challenge social, physical and communication barriers.
